RHO Residential LLC will oversee 15 multifamily properties including Sable and Haus25.

A new management company has been selected to oversee more than 6,000 apartments across the Northeast, including prominent Jersey City complexes. RHO Residential LLC will manage 15 multifamily properties previously owned by Veris Residential.

The assignment nearly doubles RHO Residential’s unit count to almost 12,000 apartments across 40 communities, significantly expanding its footprint in New Jersey and the Boston area. This move affects thousands of residents in Jersey City and the Port Imperial waterfront neighborhood.

The properties include Jersey City complexes at Sable and Haus25, as well as much of Port Imperial, a 200-acre Hudson River waterfront neighborhood spanning Weehawken, West New York, and Guttenberg.

The management change follows the $3.4 billion acquisition of Veris Residential by an investor consortium led by Craig Solomon of Affinius Capital in partnership with Vista Hill Partners.

‘As we evaluated the long-term operating strategy for this portfolio, it became clear that RHO Residential offered a unique combination of institutional management expertise, operational depth, and longstanding familiarity with these Class A properties,’ said Brad Klatt of Vista Hill Partners.

Impact: The transition will reunite many longtime colleagues who previously worked together at Roseland Property Management and Mack-Cali. RHO is onboarding 136 former Veris employees, increasing its total workforce to 250.

What Happens Next: RHO Residential will guide these properties through the transition while maintaining existing operations. Residents can expect continuity in services as the new management team implements its long-term strategy.

The portfolio’s shift to RHO Residential marks a new chapter for thousands of apartment dwellers in Hudson County and beyond.
