Refinancing supports mixed-use property at 1420 Willow Avenue in northwest Hoboken.

A mixed-use retail and office property at 1420 Willow Avenue in northwest Hoboken has secured $21.12 million in financing, nearly a decade after its construction. CBRE announced the fixed-rate loan from Lincoln Financial on behalf of the owner.

The 42,205-square-foot property, built by Bijou Properties in 2016, is a key part of the neighborhood’s ongoing redevelopment. This refinancing signals continued lender confidence in the area’s commercial growth.

The loan was arranged by a CBRE team led by Matthew Pizzolato, Josh Stein, and Carlos Silva, with Lincoln Financial providing the financing.

The building’s upper floors are leased to medical and healthcare office tenants, while street-level retail includes West Elm and Gravity Vault, an indoor rock-climbing facility.

‘Congratulations to our client on a successful refinancing of a terrific asset,’ said Matthew Pizzolato of CBRE. ‘Lincoln stepped up with the most competitive terms, and we see strong lender interest for well-located, mixed-use projects.’

Impact: The property sits near the Rockefeller Group’s 729-unit multi-building development across the street, which took a major step forward last year, further boosting commercial activity.

What Happens Next: No immediate plans for new construction at the site have been announced. Hudson Table recently added a rooftop venue with a retractable roof to the property.

The refinancing solidifies 1420 Willow Avenue’s role in Hoboken’s evolving commercial landscape.
