Eight tickets to Norway vs. Senegal match up for grabs through community lottery.
The City of Hoboken announced a free community lottery offering local youth a chance to attend the World Cup match between Norway and Senegal on Monday, June 22nd at MetLife Stadium. The initiative gives four pairs of tickets, each for one child and one guardian, to winning families.
This lottery provides a rare opportunity for Hoboken children and their families to experience a major international sporting event at no cost, courtesy of a collaboration with the Governor’s Office, New York New Jersey Host Committee, Uber, and Choose New Jersey.
Registration is open through RecDesk for Hoboken children up to 16 years old, and guardians must upload a photo of their child playing, learning, or cheering for soccer to enter.
Winners will be announced at the Hoboken Big Match Block Party on Friday, June 19th, on Grand Street between 14th and 15th Streets.
Impact: The lottery allows multiple families to attend the match, fostering community engagement and excitement around the World Cup.
What Happens Next: Registration closes Thursday, June 18th, at 5:00 PM. Winning children must be accompanied by a guardian to the game.
Residents can look forward to the block party as a celebration of soccer and community before the match.
