City lottery gives children up to 16 a chance to see Norway vs. Senegal.
The City of Hoboken announced a free community lottery offering local youth a chance to attend the World Cup match between Norway and Senegal on Monday, June 22 at MetLife Stadium.
The program, created with the Governor’s Office, New York New Jersey Host Committee, Uber, and Choose New Jersey, provides eight tickets in four pairs for a child and guardian. It aims to give Hoboken families a memorable sports experience.
Registration is open on RecDesk for Hoboken children up to age 16 until Thursday, June 18 at 5:00 p.m.
To enter, guardians must upload a photo of their child playing soccer, learning the sport, or cheering on a favorite player.
Impact: Winners will be announced at the Hoboken Big Match Block Party on Friday, June 19, on Grand Street between 14th and 15th Streets.
What Happens Next: Winning children must be accompanied by a guardian to the game. Interested families can register through the city’s RecDesk portal before the deadline.
The block party on June 19 will celebrate the lottery winners and the World Cup in the Hoboken community.
