Westfield World Trade Center celebrates a decade with pop-ups, giveaways, and a floral display through Aug. 17.

The Oculus at the World Trade Center is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Westfield World Trade Center retail space with a floral installation, vendor pop-ups, and giveaways from Aug. 7-17. Hudson County residents can reach the venue via PATH from Hoboken or Exchange Place stations.

For many in Jersey City and Hoboken, the Oculus is a familiar gateway to Manhattan. This milestone celebrates the rebirth of a retail and transit hub that replaced the original mall lost on 9/11, offering a mix of shopping, dining, and cultural events just a short train ride away.

The Westfield World Trade Center opened in 2016 as the spiritual successor to the mall destroyed in the 9/11 attacks, housing 125 retail spaces including stores and eateries.

The anniversary celebration features a floral installation in the Oculus, and visitors can snap a photo in front of it for a chance to win a $100 gift card to a WTC retailer.

‘The showcase was absolutely beautiful,’ said Amber from Team HG, who attended the event.

Impact: Residents can access the Oculus easily via PATH from Hoboken or Exchange Place stations, or by ferry to Brookfield Place Terminal, making the celebration a convenient day trip.

What Happens Next: The floral installation runs through Monday, Aug. 17. The Oculus also hosts weekly events, including live music on Wednesdays, which will continue during and after the anniversary period.

With ongoing weekly programming and a vibrant retail scene, the Oculus remains a key destination for Hudson County commuters and visitors alike.
