Hoboken Public Schools host pick-up games for grades K-12 at Redwings Stadium.

Hoboken Public Schools are hosting free pick-up soccer nights for youth through August 14th. The events, called Open Field Redwings Soccer Nights, take place on Fridays at Louis M. Taglieri, Jr. Stadium.

This program offers local children a no-cost way to stay active during summer break. It reflects a growing interest in soccer in the area, fueled by World Cup events.

The soccer nights run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on July 25, August 1, 8, and 14.

All Hoboken students in grades K through 12 are welcome, including those not enrolled in public schools.

Games are organized by age group: K-2 and 3-5 from 6-7 p.m., 6-8 from 7-8 p.m., and high schoolers from 8-9 p.m.

Impact: No referees or coaches will be present, making these true pick-up games that encourage self-organized play.

What Happens Next: No registration is required; participants should bring proper footwear and water to the stadium at 1000 Jefferson Street.

DailyHudson will continue to monitor for any weather-related cancellations or schedule changes.
