Hudson County’s packed autumn lineup includes Italian feasts, Oktoberfest, street fairs, art tours.

Hudson County’s fall festival season kicks off next month with dozens of events across Hoboken and Jersey City, from the 100th Hoboken Italian Festival to the 15th All About Downtown Street Fair.

These free and ticketed gatherings bring residents together, support local makers and small businesses, and give families affordable ways to enjoy cooler weather—key for a county known for its packed social calendar.

Hoboken’s Italian Festival, a century-old waterfront tradition, runs September 10–13 with country music, a Salute to America, and a 100th Anniversary Drone Show.

Jersey City’s 37th Art & Studio Tour (Oct 1–4) opens more than 150 venues and 200 artist studios under the theme ‘Unbounded Nature.’

Impact: Street fairs like All About Downtown (Sept 19) bring thousands to Newark Avenue, boosting foot traffic for local vendors and giving families free rides, live music, and food.

What Happens Next: Organizers advise checking event websites for weather updates and any lineup changes as dates approach; most events are free or low-cost.

With events nearly every weekend through October, residents can expect a vibrant autumn that supports local culture and commerce.
