A lineup of free outdoor events will take over the city on Saturday, June 6.

Jersey City will host a full slate of free community events on Saturday, June 6, including the Surati Holi Hai Color Festival, a Latin Food Night Market, and a vinyl record fair.

The events are part of the city’s summer kickoff and provide residents and visitors with accessible cultural entertainment, live music, and family-friendly activities across multiple neighborhoods.


The Surati Holi Hai Color Festival will take place from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Montgomery Street and Hudson Street, featuring music, dance, and color-throwing with free admission.

The Jersey City Night Market: Latin Food & Music Edition runs from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the City Hall Ancillary Lot at 179 Montgomery Street, with live DJ sets, dance lessons, and artisan vendors.

The Jersey City Record Riot will be held at the Grove Street PATH Station Plaza starting at 9:00 AM, offering over 50 tables of vinyl, CDs, and collectibles.

White Eagle Hall will host a Big Monthly Swing Dance at 7:30 PM, with live music by the HV Ultimate Dance Orchestra and open social dancing.

Impact: All listed events are free to attend, making them accessible for families and individuals looking for low-cost summer entertainment in Hudson County.

What Happens Next: Residents can attend any or all of the events on Saturday; color packets and food will be available for purchase at the Holi festival.
