Outdoor film screenings every Wednesday at 8PM with community-voted lineup and food specials.
The Hoboken Biergarten at 1422 Grand Street hosts free movie nights every Wednesday at 8PM on its outdoor patio, featuring classics, animated favorites, and comedies chosen by the audience.
This weekly event offers a family-friendly and budget-conscious way for residents to enjoy summer evenings, with a communal voting process that lets the community pick each film.
The Biergarten team polls followers on social media every Tuesday to decide the movie, with last week’s winner being Guardians of the Galaxy, followed by Game Night and Ghostbusters.
Seating is first-come, first-served, and all ages are welcome; reservations are available for groups of 15 or more.
Movie nights will continue through the summer and into the fall if the weather cooperates, offering a festive atmosphere with twinkle lights and greenery,’ said a Biergarten representative.
Impact: Rainy summer storms won’t cancel the event—screenings will move indoors to the Biergarten’s spacious seating area, ensuring the tradition continues regardless of weather.
What Happens Next: Attendees can also enjoy specials like the BOGO wing deal and Aperol spritz tower, and movie nights are expected to run weekly through at least the rest of the summer.
This free community event provides a casual, interactive entertainment option for Hoboken residents to enjoy throughout the warm months.
