New rentals near the Hoboken border offer some of the largest residences in the area, starting at $2,695.

Our team visited the properties and immediately noticed the difference. The residences are spacious—reportedly the largest we’ve come across in any new luxury building in Jersey City or Hoboken. It’s a bold claim, but when you step into a living room with 10-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, you believe it.
The Residences
Hudson House West apartments feature 10-foot ceilings, oversized windows, and in select homes, private balconies and double vanity bathrooms. Kitchens come with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, and every unit has an in-home washer and dryer. It’s the kind of stuff that makes everyday life easier—no more hauling laundry down to a basement.
Radio Lofts, meanwhile, is the history buff’s dream. The building was once the home of Emerson Radio, and the developers kept the original architectural character while adding modern finishes. The lofts boast 11.5-foot ceilings, and many units include flex spaces perfect for a home office or a growing family. Some are among the largest residences in the entire community.
Rents start at $2,695 a month, and right now the building is offering two months free, plus up to $3,000 off as part of a summer look-and-lease special. That’s a significant discount in a market where prices have climbed steadily over the past few years.
Why It Matters
For anyone who’s been apartment hunting in Hudson County lately, the struggle is real. You know the drill: you scroll through listings, and every place looks the same—compact, cookie-cutter, and priced like it’s a penthouse. We talked to a few people who’ve already moved in. One resident, a graphic designer who works from home, told us she chose Radio Lofts specifically for the flex space. “I have a real office now, not a corner of the bedroom,” she said. Another couple with a toddler mentioned the playroom and the pool as their kids’ favorite spots.
