Mediterranean-inspired restaurant with live pizza bar coming to former nightlife spot.

The owners of Metropolis plan to open Casablanca Hoboken at 306 Sinatra Drive, taking over the former Union Hall space, according to an exclusive report.

The new concept aims to bring a Mediterranean dining experience to the Hoboken waterfront, replacing a popular bar that closed in 2026 after more than a decade.

Union Hall opened in 2015 and closed in 2026, with the space previously housing Trinity Bar from 2004 to 2015.

Casablanca Hoboken will feature blue-and-white interiors, lounge-style seating, and a menu of seafood, small plates, and paellas.

Impact: A live pizza bar will allow chefs to prepare Neapolitan-style pizza in view of diners, adding a new dining option to the waterfront area.

What Happens Next: No opening date has been announced yet. DailyHudson will provide updates when more details become available.

Residents and visitors can expect a transformative new dining spot at a familiar waterfront location.
