Free concerts begin after Independence Day at multiple venues through August.

Jersey City will host a series of free live music events in city parks throughout July, starting just after Independence Day.

The annual JC Summerfest series, presented by the Office of Cultural Affairs, offers nearly 20 free concerts at Berry Lane Park, Liberty State Park, Riverview Fisk Park, and Lincoln Park.


Performers include Justin Garcia, Forget the Whale, Nick Lowe, and Naji Soul, among others.

Concerts are scheduled at Berry Lane Park and Liberty State Park, with additional shows at Riverview Fisk Park and Lincoln Park, where bands will play at the Fountain.
