The deal includes high-profile complexes like Sable and Haus25, expanding RHO’s reach to nearly 12,000 units.

RHO Residential LLC has been selected to manage a portfolio of over 6,000 apartments across the Northeast, including prominent Jersey City complexes such as Sable and Haus25, following a $3.4 billion acquisition by an investor consortium earlier this year.

This move nearly doubles RHO’s managed unit count to almost 12,000 across 40 communities, signaling a major consolidation in the region’s multifamily housing market and affecting thousands of residents in Hudson County.

The assignment covers 15 multifamily properties previously owned by Veris Residential, spread across New Jersey and the greater Boston metropolitan area.

RHO Residential will also manage other New Jersey assets, including much of Port Imperial, a 200-acre Hudson River waterfront neighborhood spanning Weehawken, West New York, and Guttenberg.

“As we evaluated the long-term operating strategy for this portfolio, it became clear that RHO Residential offered a unique combination of institutional management expertise, operational depth, and longstanding familiarity with these Class A properties,” said Brad Klatt, partner at Vista Hill Partners.

Impact: The transition reunites many longtime colleagues who previously worked together at Roseland Property Management and Mack-Cali, and includes onboarding 136 former Veris employees, increasing RHO’s total workforce to 250.

What Happens Next: RHO Residential will now oversee property management and operations for these communities, with no immediate changes to tenant services reported.

DailyHudson will monitor how this management change affects residents and property services.
