Mindfulness meditation

This type of meditation is about being aware of all that happens around you. You have to let your mind be free to flow at its will, without stopping or focusing, remaining aware of your feelings. The key is to stay neutral, not to analyze any of your thoughts or feelings.

Focused meditation

During focused meditation you concentrate on a sound, object or thought. Just focus on anything and don’t let your mind travel away. This is when relaxation music comes in handy. This meditation will leave you light and energized.

Movement meditation

Movement meditation involves focusing on your breath and making smooth, flowing movements.

Mantra meditation

Although the idea to chant during meditation may seem weird, you will find it surprisingly helpful if you try. The Aum mantra is used most often because it creates a powerful vibration that is easy for the mind to concentrate on.

Breath meditation

This technique allows you to meditate while watching your breath. Follow the flow of breath through your body and back.

Yoni Mudra

This type of meditation includes making a mudra – special gesture. Close your ears with your thumbs, cover your eyes with your index fingers and your nostrils with your middle fingers. Put the other fingers over your lips. Remove your middle fingers from you nose as you breathe. This way you block all your senses for better concentration and more efficient relaxation.
